Experience
As someone who holds a bachelor's in English Literature, I have seen first-hand how important fundamental reading and writing skills are. I believe firmly in the importance of written communication and reading comprehension in the modern world, as these skills are basic to all careers. I have even seen my own classmates struggle with these skills, so I focus my tutoring lessons on Reading and Writing as subjects. My own love for literature and teaching help my students expand their understanding of an otherwise difficult subject. They can learn to appreciate the written word thanks to my guiding hand. I work hard to engage with my students so that they will succeed in all their classes and tests, not just in reading or literature. Eventually, I would love to get my PhD and become a full-time teacher, and that passion has led me to work with many different levels of students, in all age ranges. As for now, I enjoy tutoring because I know how much of a difference a great teacher can make.
